The Association for the Prevention of Stigma and Theatre Education (UPSET), in collaboration with the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) and the European Association of Service Providers for People with Disabilities (EASPD), conducted an ad-hoc survey to map the current situation and cooperation potential. for culture and organizations that provide services to people with disabilities.

Specifically, the research aims to determine whether these organizations (cultural centres) meet the obligations set out in Article 30 of the 2006 UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Article 30 of this Convention obliges them in particular to take:

all necessary measures to guarantee the right of persons with disabilities to participate in cultural life on an equal basis with others,
appropriate measures to enable persons with disabilities to develop and exploit their creative, artistic and intellectual potential, not only for their own benefit but also for the enrichment of society.
