This workshop is thematically concerned with increasing the employability of persons with disabilities and their skills. The workshop takes place in the “Educathe +” partnership that is funded as part of the Erasmus + KA2 Strategic Partnership. The workshop is held by Andrea Ibba Monni in collaboration with members, volunteers and expert Educators of the Associazione Diversamente, they aim to explore some of the problems faced by people with disabilities in the labour market and social life – and the performance will present potential solutions to these obstacles.

Specifically, during the five-day workshop the participants will go through a specific drama-action process that will try to focus to the following issues:

We are born, we love, we die.

In our lifetime, we find some obstacles: metaphoric walls, objective difficulties.

The way we deal with this kind of hindrances marks our borders.

Is there any redemption? Can we laugh about it? Are we able to help each other’s?

A group of persons approaches these issues: sometimes with body, sometimes with their voices, sometimes with interaction.

At the end of the performance there will be discussion between the audience and performers, where you will be able to learn from the problems faced by disabled people in seven European countries.
