We are happy to inform you that UPSET’s proposed application to use free work-production terms in the Great Hall of Pogon in 2016 has been accepted by the Programme Council Plant! That is, we got the opportunity to organize a workshop and performance in their venue.
Title of the proposal is “Enough!”, and this time we will organize a drama-action research of the social stigma associated with mobbing. We will explore the topic of mobbing/bullying (and stigma associated with these negative phenomena in the workplace and society) through theatre and movement / dance.
Specifically, the workshop participants (12 people) will explore the relationship of stigma and movement, i.e., they will explore and embody the stigma and the bodies of mobbing/bullying in their movements and gestures. Participants will seek answers to the questions:
What is (for me) social stigma,
What is (for me) mobbing in the workplace?
Which bodies and movements embody the oppressor and the oppressed?
How to replace the role of the oppressor and the oppressed?
What will this change bring to me, and what my environment (work collective, society, etc.)?
Free 20 terms for exploration and final performance in Pogon will be held sometime within a period from 22 August to 11 September 2016.
Authors and program managers are our members: Ivan Hromatko, Natasa Jurisic, Ana Bobinac and Vladan Korda.
We will inform you on time about the correct terms, the opportunities for participation and details of the program.
